We have a 6 - 12 month placement starting in January / February 2009.
This opportunity is for a nursery assistant, the successful applicant will gain skills and knowledge in:
Potting
Propagation (grafting)
Dispatch
Irrigation
Machinery use and maintenance
Application of pesticides
Pruning, Staking and Tying field lifting
Labour organisation
We are situated in North Yorkshire in the North of England and will give help in finding accommodation during the placement period
Hours of work are 8am -4.30pm Monday -Thursday, Friday 8am - 3.30 Friday - 39 hour week. Payment will be above the minimum wage with opportunities for overtime during our busy spring period.
